Program Partners play a foundational role in advancing our mission to protect South Vancouver Island’s coastlines. Through long-term, high-impact support across both chapter-wide initiatives and core conservation programs, Program partners help keep our chapter strong and effective for the long haul.

Community Partners contribute to the success of our programs and events by offering resources, services, or spaces that help bring our mission to life. This is an accessible entry point for local businesses and organizations looking to support ocean protection in practical, hands-on ways.

  • 1,052 kg of garbage removed and 16 km of coastline restored across monthly cleanups, engaging hundreds of community members.

  • 195 water samples collected across 15 sites by a dedicated team of approximately 10 trained volunteers.

  • Community-led program removing derelict fishing gear, foam, and marine debris from our coastlines.

  • Campaigns working with decision-makers to reduce single-use plastics and protect water quality at the source.

  • Absolutely! Surfrider Foundation South Vancouver Island is a registered charity (Charitable Registration Number: 805979424 RR0001), and we’re happy to provide in-kind tax receipts for eligible donations.

  • Recognition includes logo placement on our website, mentions in our monthly newsletter (2,500 subscribers and growing!), and social media (nearly 5,000 Instagram followers).
