Found Objects Photo Contest

From now until October 16th, the Surfrider Foundation presents the 4th annual Found Objects photo contest. Found Objects is an opportunity for people to share items that they’ve found [and cleaned-up!] off of their local beach or waterway. Participants are encouraged to take a photo of the objects found on the beach, arranged in a creative and artistic way AND share a story about the photograph. This story can include activities, memories or what Contestant (and their community) are doing to protect that beach.IMPORTANT: To submit an entry, post the photo to your Instagram account, write your story, and then tag @surfrider AND @surfridervi and use the hashtag #SurfriderFound to be entered in the contest. Surfrider Foundation will feature one entry biweekly on their social feed, and judge the best 3 for prize packs. As Canadian chapters were not originally included in this contest, we've decided to add our own prize pack that our Surfrider BC Chapters will award to 1 winner within BC! All participants are encouraged to utilize the Marine Debris Tracker App to log their cleanup data as well.
